Continue ShoppingThe Growing Liberation Podcast follows the interests and organizing efforts of the Midwest Farmers of Color Collective. The podcast emerged from the vision of an early co-founder, and in 2022, Sammie Ardito Rivera, Michael Chaney, and Zoe Hollomon carried it forward to launch it. With production support from Real Food Media, we launched the podcast in fall of 2023 and are currently in production for additional episodes. See below for updates on new releases!
Growing Liberation reclaims our narratives to reveal our crucial connections to the land, to our cultural food ways, political power, and economic autonomy. The podcast fosters a community of farmers of color by sharing stories left out of the mainstream conversation about food, farming, land, and equity.
