Listen to farmers of color as we reclaim our narratives, reveal our crucial connections to the land and cultural food ways, and work to build political power and economic autonomy.

Sharing our stories builds community and uplifts farmer experiences and leadership. Together, we are widening current conversations about food, farming, land, and equity.

The Growing Liberation Podcast follows the interests and organizing efforts of the Midwest Farmers of Color Collective. It emerged from the vision of a few of our co-founders, and has been built up by farmer leaders since then. With production support from Real Food Media, we are creating more episodes to share each season.
