Emerging Farmers Conference

Join us for the 2025 Emerging Farmers Conference!

The Emerging Farmers Conference was born out of a 1970s food activist movement. Rapid sector growth and the arrival of new immigrants to Minnesota ignited a collaborative effort by grassroots organizations, community advocates, and state partners to empower farmers with education and training.

Over the past twenty years, the conference has grown into a multi-lingual, multicultural space for connection and hands-on learning for emerging farmers and farmers of color.

This year's conference is celebrating 20 years of cultivating food, diversity and relationships in farming.
