BLACK TO THE FARM
Produced by: House of Gristle with The B Suite — Jhaelynn Elam, Executive Producer
Four Black chefs. Four Black farm partners. Four small bites to open, then a four-course dinner built from what the land gives that week. Stories from the people who grew it, told at the table, instead of about it.
The Black agrarian tradition is older than this country and has gone largely uncelebrated. Black to the Farm names the farmers, growers, and ancestors who have always fed us.
This year's theme is We are the Table. The table was never the furniture. It's us. It always was.
